Is Lakeview Manor licensed?
Yes, we are licensed by the state.
Is the facility clean?
We have staff here twice a day to make sure
that all areas of the facility are cleaned.
Is there a home atmosphere?
You can be as busy as you want, or enjoy a
life of leisure Also, you can proudly invite your
friends, family, and guests to share meals and
activities with you.
What are the smoking regulations?
Residents are not allowed to smoke in the
building, however, we have provided designated
smoking areas.
Do they have smoke detectors and a sprinkler
system?
There are smoke detectors in every room of the
building, as well as a sprinkler system.
How do I call for help at night?
Intercoms are in every room. The monitor is
turned down during the day to ensure privacy, it is
then turned up during the night. It is a hands free
system, so there are no buttons to push or strings
to pull. All you have to do is yell and someone will
be there to help you.
May I decorate with my own things?
All rooms are unfurnished so that residents
may use their own things to decorate. This is so
they can have their own personal space.
Can a married couple share a room?
Yes! Married couples may live together in the
same room.
Are the staff members trained?
Each staff member is trained in CPR/First Aid,
and are also trained in emergency situations
including fire and tornado. Staff is also trained in
the giving of Medications.
Will they work with my doctor?
We keep in constant contact with physicians
and the pharmacy to ensure the proper care of the
Resident.
Are the Activities supervised?
All activities will be supervised by the
staff.
What if I don’t want to participate?
We encourage all residents to participate in
activities, however, it is up to the Resident how
active they want to be.
Any housekeeping and laundry Service?
Bedrooms and bathrooms are cleaned on a
schedule; however, they can be cleaned at any time a
resident needs it. Laundry is also done on a
schedule, but can be done at any time.
Are between meal snacks available?
We have snacks and drinks available to
residents at any time.
Are three meals served daily?
Yes, there are three delicious home style
meals served daily.
